- ¼ cup sugar granulated
- ¼ cup water
- 2 teaspoons peanut butter creamy
- 8 ounces strong brewed coffee
- ¼ cup half and half or milk
- 1 tablespoon marshmallow fluff
Brew 8 ounces of your favorite coffee using your preferred method.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine sugar, water and peanut butter. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer and allow to bubble until the sugar is dissolved. Whisk to fully incorporate the peanut butter until the mixture is a fairly uniform syrup. Set aside.
Heat ¼ cup of half and half or milk in a microwave safe cup or on the stove top until just steaming. Use a frother to create foam if desired.
To make the latte, combine the coffee and about 2 tablespoons of syrup in a large mug. Top with frothed milk. Lastly, spoon or pipe marshmallow fluff onto the top. Serve immediately.
Variations
- Give your latte a spiced twist with the addition of a hint of cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Try using chocolate peanut butter for an extra decadent twist!
Diet-Specific Substitutions
- Vegan: Use your favorite plant-based milk instead of regular. I like oat milk best when it comes to creating frothy foam for lattes!
