23 Desserts That Will Make Your Valentine Melt. From gooey molten lava cakes to decadent brownies, there's something melty for every sweetheart!

Valentine’s Day is just a week away, and I have been doing the public service of daily reminders + recipe ideas over on Instagram & Facebook for those of you with a significant other who expects the day to be recognized. I have mentioned in the past that I’ve never been one to get too swoony over such things, and I’m here to report that nothing has changed this year… although I did ask my husband if we could set aside a day to clean the garage together as my “Valentine’s Day gift.” Sad but true fact.

However, if my love could be bought or bolstered by something tangible — and I’m not saying it could be — but if there were something that could weaken my resolve… it might, in fact, be one of the things that I’m about to share in the collection below.

While flowers don’t make me melt, actual melty, ooey-gooey desserts do and I’m not ashamed to say it. That’s why I’ve put together this round up of some of the meltiest, chocolatiest, dreamiest desserts I’ve laid eyeballs on {and have been given permission to share}.

So, if you’re trying to win over someone like me who couldn’t care less about baubles but goes week in the knees over bonbons, take a peek at the recipes below and try your hand at one of them. You might just convert them into a romantic {at least for the day}. Go on. You can thank me later.

Molten Cakes

Molten Cakes, aside from being one of the most popular desserts in chain restaurants and cruise liners, are the ultimate in, well, “food porn” with their rich, decadent reputation and oozy chocolate centers. From “Lava Cake for 2” to serveral classic Molten recipes, these are just a few of the ways you can make sure your night is hot, hot, hot.
